President Russell M. Nelson has constantly been teaching the importance of education in our lives. He teaches, “Education is yours to obtain. No one else can gain it for you. Wherever you are, develop a deep desire to learn”. Even with a desire to learn, most people don’t have enough money to invest in their education.
BYU Pathway Worldwide has brought education closer to those who feel they cannot earn a degree, whichever country they may be in!
Unlike many colleges or universities, one doesn’t need any prior certificate to join BYU Pathway. It is online, has low costs, and provides leadership opportunities.
Cumorah Academy students had the privilege to hear all of this information and much more directly from Henry Kosak. He is responsible for BYU-Pathway in the European Area.
Kosak and his wife stayed on campus for a few days and had an eye-to-eye experience seeing life at Cumorah Academy. On a Sunday night, Kosak taught a devotional in which he explained in detail how BYU-Pathway works. In preparing for this devotional, students from Cumorah prepared a short clip about BYU-Pathway.
Kosak taught a devotional in which he explained in detail how BYU-Pathway works and what is needed to apply, answered questions, and shared his testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.
At Cumorah, we have the privilege of receiving students from different countries. Currently, we have more than twenty countries on campus. From Ukraine to Mexico, Myanmar to Nicaragua, all looking for a
bright future and high-quality education. However, many are getting through many challenges in their countries, such as war, economic crises, and others.
BYU-Pathway has been bringing hope and growth to those who are struggling. With its low cost, international certificates, and leadership skills, BYU-Pathway has changed the lives of many people around the world.
Our students are excited to join BYU-Pathway and achieve critical realizations in their lives and the lives of others.
