Meet our Interns

March 14, 2024  •  Author: marketing

Our team comprises leaders and teachers eager to embrace our values and inspire students. Similar to our students, our interns come from diverse backgrounds and countries, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences.

Internships, viewed as valuable and priceless experiences, extend beyond mere immersion in their respective fields and making connections with students. Alongside these experiences, interns also actively cultivate essential soft skills such as time management, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Mary Anderson 🇺🇸

At 24 years old, Mary holds a BA in Business and has experience in Design and Management. She teaches students in the Business and Entrepreneurship program, guiding them as they launch small businesses. “I’ve loved being here at Cumorah! All my students are incredible, and I’m grateful for the chance to know them and help them learn. I love the environment. Intrinsically motivated people surround me to improve and learn.”

Miriam Barata Armada 🇵🇹

Our Photo and Video Intern is from Portugal. Miriam has an Associate Degree in Content Creation and two Marketing certificates. She learned about the program through a friend and became interested in the program. “I chose to join Cumorah because it was a good opportunity to gain experience in my field.”

Becca Livingston 🇺🇸

A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Experience Design and Management from BYU in the Marriott School of Business, Becca is our Wellness Intern. “The best part about living in Europe is the people I have now come to see as my friends and family. It has been a growth experience in many ways, and I wouldn’t change that,” says Becca.

Delton Sambo 🇦🇴

Our Content Creator intern, Delton, shared about his experience: “It has been a great journey of friendship and strengthening, spiritual growth, and personal development; it has exceeded all my expectations, and I am very happy to create memories that last forever.” He graduated in International Business Management.

Jane Henderson 🇺🇸

A student of Sociology and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Jane is also an English teacher on campus. She decided to join us after a professor encouraged her to apply. “My students are so hardworking and have created a wonderful learning environment. We have fun inside and outside the classroom, and I know I have built relationships here that I will treasure for the rest of my life.”

Michele Argenti 🇮🇹

Michele is our Coding Instructor on campus. He was a volunteer in the Special Olympics of 2023 in Berlin. There, he got in contact with Cumorah Academy: “I chose to join Cumorah because when I was a student, I knew that this place was wonderful and full of opportunities, and I wanted to help other students feel what I felt.”

Hannah Braswell 🇺🇸
