The first graduation of the year is always special. Graduation Session 1 2026 marked a meaningful moment of reflection, gratitude, and new beginnings for students, mentors, and staff at Cumorah Academy.
After weeks of learning, growth, and personal development, students gathered to celebrate everything they had experienced together. The atmosphere carried joy and emotion. Smiles filled the room. Tears appeared as well.
This was more than a ceremony. It was the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
A Moment to Reflect
Graduation allows students to pause and recognize how far they have come. Many arrived with questions about their future. Some were searching for direction. Others wanted to grow spiritually, personally, or professionally.
By the time Graduation Session 1 2026 arrived, those same students stood with greater confidence and clarity.
They built friendships across cultures while strengthening their faith and developing leadership skills. Along the way, they stepped outside their comfort zones and embraced new challenges.
Growth happens through consistent effort and meaningful experiences.
Throughout the program, students participated in classes, mentorship moments, and shared activities that encouraged reflection and action. Small daily decisions created lasting change. Each experience contributed to their personal development and helped shape their vision for the future.

Words That Marked the Moment
During the ceremony, several students had the opportunity to address their peers and the audience.
Samuel Cavalcante, from Brazil, shared a few words with fellow students. Becky Morales, from Mexico, also spoke during the graduation, followed by Gabriela Pasqualini, from Brazil, who delivered a message to her classmates.
Each student stood before mentors, staff, and friends to recognize the importance of the journey they had shared together. Their participation reflected the unity and connection built throughout the session.
These moments allowed students to express gratitude and celebrate the journey they had completed together.
Gratitude for Mentors and Staff
Graduation is also a time to recognize those who supported students along the way.
During Graduation Session 1 2026, students demonstrated appreciation for mentors and staff members who guided them throughout the program. Several staff members received thoughtful gifts as symbols of gratitude.
Kelly Shepherd, Chief Learning Officer at Cumorah Academy, received a drawing of a compass. The gift symbolized guidance and direction, representing the role mentors play in helping students navigate important decisions.
A compass does not choose the destination. It helps travelers stay on course.
Kent and Karen Tucker were also honored, along with Ed and Vickie Austin. Students expressed sincere appreciation for their mentorship, kindness, and example.
These moments reminded everyone that growth happens within a community. Behind every student’s progress stand people who believe in their potential.

An Emotional Celebration
As the ceremony continued, emotions became visible throughout the room. Students embraced one another and reflected on the experiences they had shared over the past weeks.
They had lived, studied, served, and grown together. Challenges strengthened their resilience. Shared experiences created lasting bonds.
Now, Graduation Session 1 2026 marked the end of that daily journey together.
But endings often signal beginnings.
Every graduation carries gratitude for the past and hope for the future.
Students left with more than memories. They carried greater confidence, new perspectives, and lessons that will continue to influence their lives.

A New Stage Begins
Graduation is not a finish line. It is a starting point.
The students who completed Graduation Session 1 2026 now step into a new stage filled with opportunities and responsibility. Some will continue their education. Others will pursue professional goals or serve in their communities.
What unites them is readiness.
They learned to set goals, collaborate with people from different cultures, and take initiative. They practiced leadership through action and discovered the value of service.
Most importantly, they learned that growth requires courage.
Success rarely comes from comfort. It comes from choosing progress every day.
The lessons learned during their time at Cumorah Academy will continue to shape their decisions long after graduation day.

Carrying the Experience Forward
The true impact of Graduation Session 1 2026 will not be measured by the ceremony itself. It will be measured by what students choose to do next.
The path ahead invites them to lead with kindness, pursue meaningful goals, and create positive change wherever life takes them.
Graduation represents potential. Each student now carries new skills, deeper confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
The academy experience becomes part of their story. A foundation they can build upon for years to come.
Iain Saunders, our Academic Director, shared the following powerful words to students:
I hope that Cumorah will always remain in your heart and in your mind—to guide you when you don’t know what to do, to help you make decisions, and to lift you when you fail, struggle, or fall, because we all do.
The future belongs to those willing to act on what they have learned.
Your Journey Can Start Too
Every graduation begins with a decision. A decision to grow. A decision to step into something new.
If you are a young adult seeking direction, community, and purpose, your journey can begin just as theirs did.
Cumorah Academy is more than a program. It is a place where confidence grows, leadership develops, and lifelong friendships begin.
