Some stories begin quietly, with a simple impression that grows stronger over time. That is how the story of Allyse and Patrick Sedivy and Cumorah Academy began.
Long before Cumorah Academy welcomed students from around the world, it existed as a spiritual prompting rooted in faith, leadership, and service. From that first impression to today, Allyse and Patrick have influenced countless young adults by believing in their potential and creating a space where growth is intentional.
Cumorah Academy was never meant to be just a school.
It was designed to be a place where young adults discover purpose, develop leadership skills, and prepare to serve with confidence.

A Spiritual Prompting That Started Cumorah Academy
Allyse and Patrick’s journey began in an unexpected and deeply personal way.
On the same day, at the same time, they each felt the same spiritual prompting. They were in different rooms of their home, unaware of what the other was experiencing.
When they later shared their impressions, their message aligned perfectly:
“We need to start a school in the Czech Republic.”
At the time, the idea felt ambitious. Starting a leadership academy in another country requires faith, sacrifice, and long-term commitment. Yet Allyse and Patrick trusted that a vision rooted in service would unfold step by step.
Faith became the foundation.
Action became the response.
Cumorah Academy became the result.

Mentoring Students From the First Week of Session 1
When Allyse and Patrick arrived as mentors during the first week of Session 1, they immediately shaped the culture of the academy.
They did not arrive as distant founders or authority figures. They arrived as mentors who listened, guided, and invested personally in students’ growth. From the beginning, relationships were at the center of the experience.
Their background in business and leadership added credibility to the program, but what resonated most was their approachability and sincerity.
Students experienced an environment built on trust, encouragement, and accountability.
Mentorship at Cumorah Academy is not about giving instructions. It is about walking alongside students as they clarify their goals and strengthen their confidence.
Leadership Rooted in Positivity, Purpose, and Giving
Allyse and Patrick consistently teach that leadership is not defined by position or authority, but by a willingness to serve others. True leadership begins with a giver’s mindset.
At Cumorah Academy, students learn that effective leadership starts with self-awareness, responsibility, and the choice to give before expecting anything in return. When leaders prioritize serving others rather than seeking personal gain, they foster environments where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow.
This giver-centered leadership philosophy is visible throughout campus:
- Leadership is expressed through service, not control
- Strength shows up as consistency, kindness, and follow-through
- Influence is earned through trust, generosity, and example
The most impactful leaders are those who give their time, attention, and belief to others long before results are visible.

The Impact on Our Students
Madison Wheeler, a student from the United Kingdom, shared her experiences:
“Something I love that Patrick shared was about our limiting beliefs. At the beginning of the lesson, he handed out paper and asked us to write our personal false beliefs. At the end of the lesson, we listened to a song by Jean Valjean [from the musical Les Misérables]. The final shot was of him tearing up the piece of paper, labelling him a criminal, stopping him from progressing in his life. At this moment, we all did the same with our pieces of paper! It was such a beautiful and empowering moment.”
The impact was vivid among students:
- “I don’t think I’ve ever had the desire to hear someone giving a talk like I have the desire with Patrick and Elis. Such a good feeling of guidance and love. I know that they have great expectations for all of us and want to give us the knowledge and the opportunity to be the best version of ourselves.” Leine Batista (Brazil).
- “Allyse taught me that prayers have the power to change the course of our lives.” Gabriela Pasqualini (Brazil).
Education That Creates Opportunity and Direction
Education at Cumorah Academy goes far beyond acquiring information.
When students invest in learning, they gain tools that shape how they think, make decisions, and approach challenges. Education becomes a pathway to opportunity, confidence, and freedom.
Through structured learning and mentorship, students develop:
- Business and leadership fundamentals
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Personal accountability and long-term vision
- A stronger sense of purpose and responsibility
By gaining practical skills, students gain the ability to act intentionally and lead with confidence.
This approach reflects Allyse and Patrick’s original vision: education that empowers young adults to succeed and serve.

A Community Built on Growth and Accountability
One of the defining elements of Cumorah Academy is its community.
Students arrive from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, bringing diverse perspectives to campus. From the first days of the session, they become part of a supportive environment built on shared values and mutual respect.
Growth accelerates when individuals are surrounded by others who are equally committed to improvement.
At Cumorah Academy, students form meaningful relationships through collaboration, mentorship, and daily life together. These connections encourage accountability, resilience, and personal development that lasts well beyond the program.
Turning Potential Into Purposeful Action
This generation holds enormous potential, but potential alone is not enough.
Without structure and guidance, many young adults struggle to translate ability into progress. Cumorah Academy bridges that gap by providing mentorship, structure, and real-world experience.
Students often arrive with uncertainty about their future. Through intentional development, they gain clarity, confidence, and direction for how they want to contribute to the world.
They leave prepared to lead, serve, and create positive change.
This transformation reflects the mission Allyse and Patrick envisioned from the beginning.

A Vision That Became a Movement
What began as a spiritual prompting has grown into a leadership academy grounded in faith, education, and service.
Cumorah Academy is more than a program. It is a movement focused on preparing the rising generation for meaningful lives of leadership and purpose.
Through mentoring, education, and spiritual guidance, students are prepared to strengthen families, uplift communities, and empower future generations.
The impact of Allyse and Patrick Sedivy’s vision is measured not by numbers but by the transformed lives it has created.
