A Place of Enthusiasm and Eagerness to Learn
Have you ever been to a place where you feel contagious enthusiasm and eagerness to learn? It may not necessarily be in a classroom. It can be at church, your house, or any other place. What made you feel that excitement has little to do with the building itself. It is all about people, those who sacrifice their time to make your life better and brighter.
A Propitious Environment for Growth
One of our students, Anna, experienced the blessings of immersing herself in our campus. Being surrounded by people from different countries, languages, and stories inspired Anna in numerous ways. There is something magical about the Cumorah Academy campus. It might look quite different from campuses worldwide, but what distinguishes it is the Christlike-centered learning environment.

Sacrifices and Rewards
Coming from Lviv, a beautiful city in Western Ukraine, Anna sacrificed her time with family and friends to join our campus. However, she recognizes that these three months away from home will be worth it in the future. “Although I miss them deeply, I know the time spent here will be a blessing,” she says. Having such a positive perspective is undoubtedly one of the components of success.

Connecting with Diverse Cultures
“My favorite part here is that we can connect with a lot of people from different cultures. Apart from having a great study process here, we can spend valuable time together, learn more about Jesus Christ, and participate in different activities. It helps us to unite and learn more about each other.”
The Unique Components of Cumorah Academy
Interestingly, Anna mentioned three components that make Cumorah Academy unique.
Valuable Time Together
First, spending valuable time together. The connection between students and mentors is the sparkling light of what makes Cumorah Academy special. Each student brings their own light to the vastness of the story of Cumorah.
Learning About Jesus Christ
Next, we learn more about Jesus Christ. If you pay attention, the Scriptures are filled with many moments where the Savior is teaching, either one person or a group of people. He was the Greatest Teacher and our role model at Cumorah. His teachings and values are the root of what we believe.
Engaging in Numerous Activities
Finally, participating in numerous activities. Our agenda is carefully planned to allow students to immerse themselves in their learning. Not only that, but we also include time to meet the beauties of Europe, including going to Freiberg, Germany. We have cultural events, parties, networking events, and much more on our campus.
Discovering Cumorah Academy
Anna learned about Cumorah Academy through a friend of hers, Sofia (who is also a student this semester!) who found Cumorah on social media. “I’m glad I took this chance,” admits Anna. And we are glad for her courage to come here with us.

Balancing Work and Learning
She also works part-time on campus. In her free time, she spends it with her friends or learning more about business and entrepreneurship. Once she returns home, she’ll keep working in the same job she had during her time on campus. Anna emphasizes that Cumorah has opened her eyes to her Life Vision – a blueprint students write for their achievements in life. They visualize what they want to do and become. Anna is eager and excited to return home and live the life she wants.
A Message for Future Students
She also has a message for future students: “Don’t hesitate to apply. Come and be part of this. What can be better than combining fun time with the study process?” In fact, Anna is right. What is the combination of fun time with study? The answer is… Cumorah Academy.
