Description

The Content Creator & Marketing Intern helps shape Cumorah Academy’s brand presence through creative storytelling, strategic communication, and engaging content across digital and print platforms. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to write, design, and distribute materials that capture the spirit of Cumorah Academy and expand its global reach.

 

This position is ideal for students or recent graduates in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or Journalism who are passionate about writing, digital media, and purposeful storytelling. You’ll create blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and institutional materials that inform and inspire diverse audiences.

 

As part of a collaborative marketing team, you’ll gain real-world experience in content strategy, SEO, digital publishing, and audience engagement—all while contributing to a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals through education and leadership development.

 

This internship provides a bridge between academic training and professional application—perfect for students preparing for careers in content marketing, communications, public relations, or media writing while still giving them the opportunity to consecrate their time and talents to contribute towards the strengthening of the Church community and its young members worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics and trends relevant to education, leadership, and personal development.
  • Write and publish engaging blog posts, social media content, articles, and institutional materials.
  • Create marketing copy and campaign content in collaboration with the marketing and design teams.
  • Conduct interviews with professionals, mentors, and students to include authentic perspectives in written materials.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and tone before publication.
  • Coordinate visuals and layouts with the design team to ensure strong presentation.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO principles to maximize online visibility.
  • Update website content and marketing materials as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, social media, and paid advertising specialists to maintain unified brand communication.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or Marketing Assistant (academic or professional).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with excellent grammar and editing ability.
  • Portfolio of published or academic writing samples.
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital publishing, and social media marketing.
  • Ability to research, plan, and execute projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Professional, collaborative, and aligned with Cumorah Academy’s mission and values.
  • Understanding of impactful marketing tactics and audience engagement principles.
