Description

The Sales and Career Development Intern leads and manages Cumorah Academy’s Sales and Career Development programs. This unique opportunity blends leadership, mentoring, and professional coaching as you guide students in building essential sales and career readiness skills.

You will teach classes, conduct workshops, and provide one-on-one mentoring focused on sales strategy, communication, and professional development. Working closely with sales students, the business intern, and campus leadership, you’ll help students set meaningful goals, track progress, and achieve tangible growth.

 

This position offers high autonomy, leadership responsibility, and valuable teaching and coaching experience. It is ideal for students or graduates in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Organizational Leadership who are eager to share their expertise, gain cross-cultural experience, and strengthen their own leadership and instructional skills in a purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Sales Instruction & Coaching

  • Conduct sales classes three times per week, combining instruction, roleplay, and hands-on selling practice.
  • Teach essential and advanced sales techniques, guiding students through real-world application.
    Provide feedback and coaching to help students improve performance and reach personal KPIs.
  • Assign leads and assist in developing effective sales scripts for various scenarios.

Career Development Training

  • Teach a weekly Career Development class covering résumé writing, LinkedIn optimization, interview skills, and job search strategies.
  • Train and mentor student leaders serving as peer career advisors.
  • Provide one-on-one meetings with students to review résumés, progress, and job search goals.

Collaboration & Program Development

  • Collaborate weekly with the Business Intern to align sales training, student progress, and resource development.
  • Meet weekly with your supervisor to report outcomes, review KPIs, and receive feedback.
  • Create meaningful, structured activities to enhance both the sales and career development programs.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated sales experience with the ability to teach and coach effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking and presenting in group settings.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring ability with a passion for teaching and personal development.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Able to relocate to the Czech Republic for the full 90-day term.
  • Valid passport with eligibility for the EU Schengen zone (90-day stay).
  • Respectful, supportive, and aligned with Cumorah Academy’s mission and values.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and professional in teamwork and conduct.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to stand for 1–3 hours during instruction.

Helpful Skills & Experience

  • International experience or service background.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Czech, Portuguese, or Ukrainian (English proficiency required for all).
  • Background in sales leadership, teaching, or coaching.

Expectations

Interns are expected to fully participate in the academic, social, and spiritual aspects of the Cumorah Academy experience — including classes, service projects, cultural excursions, and worship services.
