Session 2 2026 brought together students from around the world for leadership development, service, professional preparation, personal growth, and faith.
Through academic experiences, mentorship, entrepreneurship, career preparation, and service, students had opportunities to develop skills and perspectives that can shape their futures.
The results of the session show what can happen when education, opportunity, mentorship, and purpose come together.

Career and salary outcomes are based on students who reported employment and compensation data at the relevant measurement points.
These results represent more than numbers. They reflect young adults developing leadership skills, gaining professional experience, serving others, and preparing for their futures.
Cumorah Academy also demonstrates the value of creating an environment where education connects with mentorship, service, leadership, faith, and real-world experiences.

Leadership and Personal Development
Leadership development is central to the Cumorah Academy experience. Throughout Session 2, students were challenged to take responsibility, communicate with purpose, build trust, serve others, and become people others can rely on.
By the end of the session, 72.73% of students demonstrated Advanced leadership skills, while 94.55% demonstrated Proficient or Advanced leadership skills.
Students developed these skills through academic experiences, service projects, collaborative work, mentorship, and daily interactions with their peers.
Anna Isabel from Brazil reflected on one part of that growth:
“Cumorah Academy taught me the importance of having a life vision and tailoring your goals around that vision.”
For Camden Smith from the United States, the experience also changed how he approached his goals:
“Something that I learned here is to set high goals. If you do that, you’ll push yourself to the best you can and try your hardest.”
These experiences show how leadership development can extend beyond individual skills. Students were encouraged to think about their goals, take ownership of their decisions, and consider the kind of people they want to become.

Service in Action
Service gave students opportunities to turn leadership principles into action.
During Session 2, students and staff contributed more than 1,518 hours of volunteer work across six service projects.
Through these projects, students worked together, identified needs, supported others, and experienced the responsibility that comes with serving a community.
While teaching English to teenagers, Jennel Garcia from Mexico reflected on the purpose behind that service:
“I hope these teenagers feel that their dreams are possible.”
Service therefore created an impact in two directions. Communities received practical support, while students gained opportunities to practice leadership, collaboration, responsibility, and empathy in real situations.

Entrepreneurship: Turning Ideas Into Action
Many students arrive at Cumorah Academy with ideas, creativity, and ambition. The Business & Entrepreneurship Program gives them an opportunity to test those ideas through practical learning.
Students explored market research, product development, branding, pricing, sales, financial fundamentals, innovation, and customer validation.
During Session 2, 10 of 15 Business students (66.67%) launched revenue-generating businesses while on campus.
The experience encouraged students to test assumptions, understand customer needs, adapt their ideas, and take action.
Entrepreneurship is not only about creating a company. It also involves identifying problems, creating value, taking initiative, and developing the confidence to act.
These capabilities can remain valuable long after students leave campus.

Career Development: Preparing for the Future
Career preparation remained another important part of Session 2.
Students developed skills related to career planning, professional guidance, resume development, interview preparation, personal branding, networking, and professional growth.
During the session, 50.91% of Career Development students secured improved employment opportunities, while participating students reported an average salary increase of 92.08%.
Students were encouraged to understand their strengths, research opportunities in their fields, communicate their value, and build professional relationships.
The goal is not simply to help students find their next job. It is to help them develop the skills and awareness required to continue recognizing and pursuing meaningful professional opportunities.
This reflects a broader principle behind Cumorah Academy’s work: education becomes more powerful when students know how to apply what they learn to real challenges beyond campus.

Faith, Mentorship, and Personal Growth
Not every meaningful outcome can be captured through a percentage.
Throughout Session 2, students had opportunities to reflect on their faith, values, purpose, confidence, and personal direction. Mentors encouraged students to reflect, take accountability, consider important decisions, and ask deeper questions about their lives and futures.
A stronger relationship, a renewed sense of purpose, greater confidence, or an important personal decision can become a foundation for future growth.
Session 2 also included meaningful spiritual experiences. On May 31, students attended the dedication of Prague’s first stake center, an experience that some described as personally significant.
Sarah Sevilla from Venezuela shared:
“President Uchtdorf said something that made me finally make the choice to go on a mission.”
Ramón Sanhueza from Chile described his experience this way:
“It was a blessing to see a prophet of God so close, even when I am so far from home in Chile. I felt the Spirit so strong.”
These experiences represent another dimension of student development: growth is not limited to what students know or what they accomplish. It also includes the values, decisions, relationships, and sense of purpose they develop along the way.

Five Years of Student Impact
Session 2 2026 also marked an important milestone for Cumorah Academy, as it celebrated its fifth anniversary.
Five years of programs, service, leadership development, mentorship, and student experiences have created a growing community of young adults who have had opportunities to discover their purpose and develop their potential.
Session 2 became another chapter in that larger story.
The anniversary provided an opportunity to recognize the foundation built over the past five years while looking toward the students and opportunities still ahead.

Looking Forward
The impact of Session 2 extends beyond the end of the semester.
Students leave with new experiences, stronger relationships, practical skills, greater confidence, and a clearer understanding of how they can contribute to the people and communities around them.
For those who support Cumorah Academy, these outcomes demonstrate the potential of investing in young adults during a formative stage of their lives.
When education, mentorship, service, faith, and opportunity come together, students can develop the capacity to shape their own futures and contribute meaningfully to the lives of others.
Session 2 2026 is another chapter in that mission.
The journey continues, and so does the opportunity to help more young adults discover their purpose, develop their potential, strengthen their faith, and prepare to make a meaningful difference.
