English Certification at Cumorah Academy
Cumorah Academy offers internationally recognized English certifications, providing students with structured classes tailored to their proficiency level. The academy prepares students for Cambridge English exams at various levels:
- B1 Preliminary – Demonstrates the ability to handle everyday English in familiar environments. Useful for jobs that require occasional English use.
- B2 First – Confirms proficiency in English for most professional workplaces. This is the most commonly required level for careers involving English.
- C1 Advanced – Proves that students can study and work in English fluently in both familiar and unfamiliar situations. This level is often required for university admission or jobs in education.
Students are placed in appropriate classes based on their initial assessment, ensuring that they receive the right level of instruction. While Cumorah Academy fully prepares students for these exams, it does not cover the cost of the official Cambridge certification. Students who wish to obtain the official certificate are encouraged to take the exam with Cambridge P.A.R.K. in the Czech Republic or at local examination centers in their home countries.
Business & Entrepreneurship Program
Beyond language learning, Cumorah Academy also offers a Business & Entrepreneurship program designed to help students develop essential business skills. In this program, students:
- Learn how to create and validate a well-structured business plan.
- Gain practical experience in selling products or services.

- Developing and pitching a complete business plan to a panel of judges.

Sales Bootcamp
Sales is an essential skill in the professional world. Cumorah Academy’s Sales Bootcamp is designed to equip students with the knowledge and experience to thrive in sales-related roles.

Work Focus Program
Many students come to Cumorah Academy with their own online work, and we are happy to support them. The Work Focus track allows students to balance their studies with their professional commitments while still benefiting from the academy’s enriching environment.
Students enrolled in this program:
- Participate in core Leadership and Development courses for up to 15 hours per week.
- Have the flexibility to manage their own work during the rest of the time.
- Benefit from strong wireless internet access and dedicated workspaces across the campus.
While the academy provides public computers, we strongly recommend bringing personal laptops to ensure compatibility with individual work requirements. This program is perfect for digital nomads, freelancers, or remote workers looking for a structured yet flexible learning experience.
Online Studies & BYU-Pathway
Studying can be both fun and rewarding—especially when you’re not doing it alone!
If you’re enrolled in an external course, don’t worry—you’ll be surrounded by a supportive community of students eager to help you succeed. You’ll be able to complete your assignments at your own pace and fit them around the Leadership Program, which takes place in the mornings.
BYU-Pathway Students
The same applies if you’re studying through BYU-Pathway. You’ll check in with your course supervisor and attend your online classes as usual. To keep everything running smoothly, we recommend sharing your class schedule with our campus team so we can help you manage your time effectively.
Other School, University, or Online Studies
If you’re enrolled in another school, university, or online program, just share your timetable and scheduling needs with us.
