Together in Christ: Cumorah Academy at the 2025 YSA Conference

September 4, 2025  •  Author: marketing

Together in Christ was the guiding theme of the 2025 YSA Conference, and it perfectly captured the spirit of the event. Thousands of young adults, ages 18 to 35, gathered in Salt Lake City to learn, connect, and grow spiritually, socially, and professionally. For Cumorah Academy, being part of this conference was more than just an opportunity to share our programs—it was a chance to live out our mission in a powerful way.

Why “Together in Christ” Matters to Cumorah Academy

At Cumorah Academy, the phrase Together in Christ resonates deeply with our values and vision. Since our founding in 2021, we have been dedicated to creating a Christ-centered environment where young adults from around the globe can grow in leadership, personal development, and faith.

Our campus is unique because it welcomes people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Students from dozens of countries come together, share experiences, and build friendships that go beyond borders. This diversity is not a challenge—it is a strength. Being united in Christ allows us to focus on a common goal: helping young adults achieve their full potential while strengthening their character.

That spirit of unity and growth is exactly what brought us to the Utah Area YSA Conference this year.

What Is the YSA Conference?

For those who may not be familiar, YSA stands for Young Single Adult. These conferences are initiatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints designed to support and uplift young adults ages 18 to 35. While the 2025 event took place in Salt Lake City, hundreds of YSA conferences happen worldwide every year, offering young people the chance to connect, learn, and celebrate their faith together.

Organizers hosted the YSA Conference at the Salt Palace Convention Center from August 29–30, 2025. Over two unforgettable days, thousands of participants joined workshops, breakout sessions, and performances that combined fun, inspiration, and meaningful learning.

A Conference Full of Opportunities

The organizers prepared a rich schedule, balancing inspiring talks with interactive activities. Breakout sessions covered topics relevant to every young adult navigating life’s challenges and opportunities. Participants explored areas such as:

  • Personal development – Building confidence and self-awareness.
  • Emotional wellness – Developing resilience and healthy habits.
  • Becoming a leader – Learning to inspire and guide others.
  • Discovering your career – Exploring talents and professional pathways.

Each session featured experienced mentors and teachers who shared practical insights. They didn’t just present theory—they offered real-world examples that helped young adults see how to set goals, pursue dreams, and stay strong in their faith.

Inspiration Through Music and Messages

No YSA conference would be complete without music, and this year’s lineup did not disappoint. Attendees were thrilled by live performances from world-renowned artists like The Piano Guys and McKenna Faith Breinholt, whose music brought joy and reflection to the crowd.

Equally uplifting were the spiritual messages delivered by Church leaders. Participants had the privilege of hearing from Elder Brian K. Taylor, Sister Tamara W. Runia, Bishop Gérald Caussé, and Sister Kristen Oaks. Their talks reminded everyone that the journey of faith is both personal and shared. Another way of living the principle of being Together in Christ.

Cumorah Academy at the YSA Conference

One of the highlights for us was meeting so many curious and motivated young adults at our booth. Our founder, Patrick Sedivy, along with our COO, Kamila Fullmer, and other team members, welcomed participants with open arms and open hearts.

We introduced them to our distinctive approach to leadership and personal development. Alongside this, we presented our Business Program, Sales Bootcamp, Internship opportunities, the exciting Founders4Futures (F4F) program, and all other programs we have.

Participants especially valued hearing how these programs helped past students grow in career, leadership, and faith.

The energy at our booth was incredible. Conversations flowed easily. The curiosity of the young adults confirmed one thing: there is a real hunger for environments where faith, learning, and leadership intersect.

A Little Extra Excitement: Giveaways!

To make the experience even more memorable, Cumorah Academy organized some exciting giveaways during the event. Participants had the chance to win half scholarships, full scholarships, and even a trip to Cancun!

Yes, you read that right—a trip to Cancún was part of our giveaways. It sparked joy and excitement among everyone who stopped by. These prizes were more than just rewards. They were opportunities for young adults to take their next step in education, adventure, and personal growth.

Why This Experience Matters

Being at the YSA Conference reminded us why we do what we do. Events like these are not only about fun and inspiration; they are about building bridges, forming connections, and creating lifelong memories.

For Cumorah Academy, it was also a chance to show that our mission goes beyond the classroom. Whether it’s through leadership programs, mentorship, or international community life, we are committed to helping young adults thrive Together in Christ.

Looking Ahead

If you didn’t have the chance to attend this year’s YSA conference, don’t worry—there will be many more in the future, and maybe one will take place closer to your home. These gatherings are part of a worldwide movement to inspire and strengthen young adults in their faith and personal growth.

As for Cumorah Academy, we are excited about the road ahead. Our projects continue to grow, our network expands every year, and the enthusiasm we witnessed in Salt Lake City only strengthens our resolve.

The journey doesn’t stop here. Stay connected with us on social media to follow our updates, new initiatives, and future events. You never know—you might even be part of our next adventure.

Final Word: Living “Together in Christ”

The Utah Area YSA Conference of 2025 was more than just an event. It was a reminder that young adults around the world are eager to grow, connect, and live meaningful lives.

For Cumorah Academy, it was proof that we are on the right track. We left Salt Lake City grateful, inspired, and motivated to keep building a place where faith, learning, and leadership come together.

After all, the greatest lesson of all is simple yet profound: we are stronger, happier, and more purposeful when we are Together in Christ.
