“The first time I heard about Cumorah was in 2022,” Nathaly says with a laugh. “It came as a LinkedIn message. I thought it was spam, so I ignored it.”
It’s a common reaction. Many who hear about Cumorah for the first time wonder: Is this too good to be true? But here’s the truth — when something this good exists, it naturally raises eyebrows. Yet those who take the leap soon discover: It’s not just real. It’s transformational.
When life felt uncertain and directionless, Nathaly chose to seek guidance through prayer. “I knelt and prayed, promising the Lord that I would do whatever I had to do,” she shares. “Shortly after, Cumorah came back into my life. This time, I didn’t hesitate.”
Her journey wasn’t easy. Like many students who come to Cumorah, she had to leave things behind — a stable job, the familiarity of home, and the security of routine. But growth rarely happens without sacrifice.
“I had to leave my work behind and was worried about what would come next,” she admits. But the decision to come brought rewards beyond what she could imagine.

At first, it was really challenging. But with help from mentors, I gained clarity about my life and what I want to do next.”
For Nathaly, the lessons weren’t just academic. They were deeply personal and spiritual.
“Before coming, I felt I didn’t have enough skills,” she reflects. “But during a devotional, I realized that I am a daughter of God. That truth changed everything for me.”
