Mission

Each semester, 12 hand-selected students from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds worldwide take on the challenge of launching real businesses—with the goal of generating revenue by the end of the semester.

As a part of the Founders for Futures program, you’ll play a vital role as a “Peer Business Associate”, helping students develop their businesses and learn the skills needed to build sustainable ventures

As a Peer Business Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping a student build and scale their startup, applying real-world business strategies, and shaping the future of global entrepreneurship. Join a high-impact initiative that transforms lives and communities.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Curriculum provided by Scott Petersen

The Business and Entrepreneurship program at Cumorah Academy upholds a high standard of
excellence, with a curriculum developed by Scott Petersen.

Previously, he served as the Executive Director of BYU's Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology, where he built a program that ranked among the top five university entrepreneurship programs for each of the 10 years he held the position.

Scott's extensive experience includes co-founding or partnering in six companies, as well as providing expert guidance in lean startup methodology, technical sales, business strategy, and early-stage funding. He brings deep expertise in acquisitions, consulting, and leadership training to the Cumorah Academy program, ensuring that students develop skills relevant to real-world business challenges.

His expertise shapes the program's curriculum and approach, equipping students with the mindset and tools to succeed in entrepreneurship.

Scott is the co-founder and Managing Partner of RevRoad Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to accelerating founders.
