program that blends entrepreneurship, humanitarian service, and global networking.
Each semester, 12 hand-selected students from diverse and underprivileged
backgrounds worldwide take on the challenge of launching real businesses—with the goal of
generating revenue by the end of the semester.

“Peer Business Associate”, helping students develop their businesses and learn the
skills needed to build sustainable ventures
As a Peer Business Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping a student build
and scale their startup, applying real-world business strategies, and shaping the future of

Curriculum provided by Scott Petersen
The Business and Entrepreneurship program at Cumorah Academy upholds a high standard of excellence, with a curriculum developed by Scott Petersen.
Previously, he served as the Executive Director of BYU's Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship &
Technology, where he built a program that ranked among the top five university
entrepreneurship programs for each of the 10 years he held the position.
Scott's extensive experience includes co-founding or partnering in six companies, as well as
providing expert guidance in lean startup methodology, technical sales, business strategy, and
early-stage funding. He brings deep expertise in acquisitions, consulting, and leadership training
to the Cumorah Academy program, ensuring that students develop skills relevant to real-world
business challenges.
His expertise shapes the program's curriculum and approach, equipping
students with the mindset and tools to succeed in entrepreneurship.
Scott is the co-founder and Managing Partner of RevRoad Capital, an early-stage venture
capital firm dedicated to accelerating founders.
